CARE TIPS
How to care for your silver pieces?
Silver pieces are delicate and require special care to keep them in top condition over time. Here are some tips to keep your REVOZZE jewelry looking like new.
925 SILVER
Avoid contact with abrasive products
Silver can react with substances such as perfumes, creams, hairspray, chlorine, detergents, or cleaning products.
🚩 Avoid wearing your jewelry while applying these products and remove it before swimming in chlorinated pools.
Store your pieces properly
✔️ Store your jewelry separately in cloth/plastic bags or padded compartments to prevent scratches or tangling.
🚩 Avoid prolonged exposure to direct air, as silver can oxidize upon contact with air.
⚡ A good trick is to store them in sealed bags to reduce oxygen exposure.
Clean your jewelry regularly
✔️ Use a soft cloth or microfiber cloth to clean the pieces and restore their shine. You can also use a special silver polishing cloth or cleaning fluid, both available at jewelry stores.
🚩 Avoid using abrasive products or hard brushes that could scratch the surface.
SILVER WITH MINERALS
✔️ Natural stones such as lapis lazuli, malachite, sodalite, and onyx are more delicate and should only be cleaned with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
🚩 Avoid using jewelry cleaners like Limpiasteg, as they can damage, dull, or make natural stones porous.
⚡ If you find that the piece has stains that are difficult to remove with a soft cloth and you need to use a cleaning fluid, apply the product with a cotton swab only to the stained areas, avoiding contact between the liquid and the stones.
Do not wear your jewelry while doing physical activities.
Sweat and impacts can affect both silver and stones.
✔️ To prevent stones from wearing down or silver from tarnishing quickly, it is recommended to remove your jewelry before exercising.
Professional repairs and adjustments
✔️ If any of your pieces are damaged, it is best to take them to a professional jeweler who has experience with natural stones and 925 silver so that they can repair them without compromising the integrity of the jewelry.
